"Leadership Metro Richmond (LMR) contracted with TMI to develop & deliver our mid-year Inclusion Retreat.
The Inclusion Retreat is the most important and difficult to conduct of the ten events presented during the LMR class year.
LMR has not been satisfied with the results from previous Inclusion Retreats and decided to hire “professional” facilitators to develop and deliver this critical component of the class year. After several interviews of consulting organizations specializing in Diversity/Inclusion work we elected to contract with TMI for the 2010 Inclusion Retreat.
The TMI associates were the most professional and capable team we interviewed. There proposed methodology was a perfect combination of content and practical application of the “key learning’s”.
The Inclusion Retreat was a complete success thanks to the development and delivery of the material by the TMI team. This was the most successful Inclusion retreat I have been part of during my six years as LMR Program Director. The TMI associates have excellent knowledge of the subject matter, outstanding presentation skills and the all important ability to deal with sensitive and emotionally charged class member interactions.
I highly recommend TMI to any organization requiring expertise in developing and delivering Diversity/Inclusion programs & interventions. "

"CultureWorks used tmi (Matthew Freeman and Tiffany Jana) to facilitate our 10/7/2010 retreat for our board of directors. We were highly satisfied. Matthew and Tiffany used keypad technology along with their personal engagement skills to engage our board on several fronts towards three goals. First was to introduce an element of fun in getting them to know one another better. Second was to enhance their knowledge – and determine what their level of knowledge is – about general demographics and arts/culture in the Richmond region. And third was to cause them to think about their own priority strengths and interests that relate to the CultureWorks mission and then to cause them to consider self-initated projects for the good of the cause. Matthew and Tiffany were successful on all levels.
CultureWorks not only applauds their methodology and their obvious level of experience and maturity, but also their personal style in relating to all types of persons. We rated our board retreat a success thanks to the good work of tmi.
CultureWorks looks forward to engaging tmi on future occasions, and highly recommends tmi to other organizations."

"Matthew and Tiffany, thank you both so much for helping to kick off my and others' experience of the Richmond Christian Leadership Institute. I enjoyed your positive-energy, good-humored presentation....as well as the good chemistry between you. Most of all, I appreciated the 'key pad' exercise for its effectiveness at helping us all answer the question of "who is in the room?", or in our case the question of "who are the people embarking on this 9-month journey with me?". For me, that was a great gift. The moment you provided us with a visual of the diversity of our classmates' politics, faith perspectives, and denominational ties, I experienced a noticeable shift in my disposition and expectations.
Because of your session I was liberated from concerns I walked in with about whether or not I would fit in with 'the group'. There was no box that I or anyone else needed to fit into in order to have a positive experience of the program, just 33 neat people with a lot of different views about how the world works, sharing an eagerness to discover more about how our lives will intersect with God's desires and Christ's life in our city. New space was cleared to grow and learn with others in ways that I was not anticipating when I walked in the room, and I was free to be me. Nice work. It is awesome watching yall do your thing."

"After witnessing their superlative facilitation skills, we contracted with Tiffany Jana and Matthew Freeman of TMI in 2010 to plan and execute diversity-related workshops with our Resident Assistants.
While we were not surprised to see those same skills on display with our students, we found TMI to be extraordinarily easy to work with. They were always dialogical, eager to hear our thoughts and preferences and also generous with their own expertise. From the start they were participatory, creative, and engaging, both in our planning meetings and when it came to the workshops and interacting with students.
In fact, Tiffany and Matthew were forced to work in less than ideal conditions-the technology wasn't working, and the room was too cramped for the 96 participants. Undaunted and savvy, they nevertheless conducted an excellent workshop. Evaluations showed that 93% of the students agreed or strongly agreed that the facilitators were effective and knowledgeable. We will seek them out again without hesitation."
